Anatomic Pathology

krista SVP bwKrista Eraham, DVM

Dr. Krista Eraham is our first resident in Anatomic Pathology.  Dr. Eraham has practiced in the Pacific Northwest on a variety of species, including horses, camelids, small ruminants, and companion animals.  During several years in private practice, Dr. Eraham developed a deep appreciation of quality pathology and realized how it is critical to successful treatment and management of diseases in her diverse patients.  Luckily for us, she decided it was time to pursue her interest and passion for pathology.  We are delighted to have Dr. Eraham join SpecialtyVETPATH and look forward to fostering her pursuits.

During her time at SpecialtyVETPATH, Dr. Eraham will perform necropsies, gross examinations and sectioning of surgical biopsy specimens, and histologic evaluation of anatomic pathology cases under the supervision of Drs. Ward and Delaney.  Weekly rounds involving Wednesday Slide Conference materials, current literature from Veterinary PathologyJournal of Veterinary Diagnostic Investigations, and similar journals, as well as gross pathology seminar will help prepare Dr. Eraham for the ACVP board certification exam and a fulfilling career in veterinary pathology.
