Emily graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2016 with a Veterinary Assistant Certificate and began working in the field at Animal Surgical Clinic of Seattle (now known as Animal Surgical and Orthopedic Center). After four years with ASOC, she has learned so much about small animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary medicine in general. Although she has enjoyed working with patients directly and in surgery, she has always been interested in pathology. Emily is working on becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician, after which she will specialize and work towards applying for a veterinary pathology technician’s license. Outside of work and school, she enjoys reading, knitting, and spending time with her two dogs and significant other, Dan.
